Cowboy Crosses and Angels!

By tammyd | February 6th, 2011

My friend Amber at Cowgirl Angels makes the most beautiful crosses and angels from baling wire!  They make fantastic gifts for Easter! She can custom make them by color, too (I think!

I have crosses, a butterfly, a couple of angels and an awesome pink beaded horseshoe!  I’ve run out of people to give them to, so now I want you to get some!  Enjoy browsing her store and convo her if you want a certain color!

New For Valentine’s Day!

By tammyd | January 21st, 2011

I have been busy making new Valentine printable!  I just LOVE cards that you can put treats inside or onto!  Sometimes you don’t want to eat candy, so you can even use straws and pencils to dress up ordinary cards.  Here’s the latest…

From my brand new Etsy Store, Check out These Ballerinas!!

they come with or without Scriptures and are easy to print and assemble!

How about some new Robot Lollipop cards?  Not just for kids, you know!

or how about the Girl Talk series?  This link is to my AimeAsher store.  All kits are available both places.

One of these days I will finish this blog….I know there are lots of “broken” things on it..but i’m just too busy making new stuff to figure it out!

So what have YOU been making since its too cold to be outdoors?  Would love to hear it!

Happy Crafting!

I’m Back!

By tammyd | December 28th, 2010

Well, sort of…I wasn’t really “gone”…just freakishly busy with “pattern season” and “holiday season”.  It seems the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day I get this itch to move forward.  The teenagers are sleeping and no one has to be anywhere until the afternoon and my house has not filled up yet with random teens (which I love!).  Nor have I really started tackling the annual clean-up-the-house-and-declutter ritual.  Then I realized my poor blog was sorely neglected!

So this morning, while the rain is lightly falling and the dog is still snoring and no one needs help finding clean clothes (go figure), I’m taking some time to tickle your fancy with some new ideas that will get you in the crafting mood while it’s too cold to go outside!

If you like STITCHING inside your cozy home during the winter, I have some new stitchery patterns!

My Favorite is Psalm 23 and The Lord’s Prayer! You can find them on the Stitcheries page at my pattern site plumcreekcollectibles.com

It’s never too early to start on Nativity items for next year, so here is my latest BEST SELLER!  It uses woolfelt applique and I love the way the colors turned out.

Next, there are  lots of new rubber stamp sets with INKY ANTICS for your card projects.   The BRAND NEW stamps will be ready in a few weeks, but here are a few samples of some other sets I found to show you:

I’m not sure who made this card, but the Bubbly Day Clear Acrylic Stamp set has lots of mix-and-match elements

10968MC, Spa Turtle Clear Set

This cute card by Kendra Wietstock uses some of my ROBOT STAMPS.  See the entire collection HERE

I know Christmas is over, but Debbie Fischer at The Paper Garden makes such adorable cards with my stamp sets, I had to show you a few!

Millie is one of my favorites!  There are several MILLIE MOUSE CLEAR SETS

The snowman cards use  STYLISH SNOWY CLEAR SET with mix and match elements so you can create all kinds of snow people!

Well, seems the “dead” are awaking and taxi service has begun!
I hope you have a wonderful “inbetween” week! Get ready for some fun new stuff in January!  Lot’s of surprises are on the way!
Hugs!

New Marvelous Monday Project! Wallet Album!

By tammyd | August 10th, 2010

After a few Mondays with too much to do, I finally got a new workshop posted!!  This one is way too fun!

Here’s the full workshop and tutorial : Marvelous Monday’s at Aimee Asher

I needed something special for my daughter’s 16th birthday to go with her new digi camera!  So of course, an album!

Here’s the closed wallet.  I still need to jazz it up with her initials and stuff, but she doesn’t like foo-foo stuff.   The shoe key chain was a great find at Dollar General!

Here’s the inside…of course, you could just use it plain for gift cards, but I filled it with “16 sweet things I love about you” and pictures at each birthday since she was born.

YOu can see all the step by steps at the workshop.

I would love to see what you make using this as an inspiration!

Have a wonderful week!

Marvelous Monday “altoid” tin purse album!

By tammyd | July 15th, 2010

Hi everyone!

We are having so much fun making projects at the Marvelous Monday Workshop at Aimee Asher!  Since it is “Christmas in July” I’ve put up a few holiday themed projects, but of course, you can change it up however you wish!  Feels weird making Christmas stuff when it is 100 degrees here in Dallas!

See all the photos of the insides and the album HERE:

Soon it will be time to get busy with pattern designs for the International Quilt Festival.  Every year I vow to start early…..we’ll see if I follow through this year!  LOL

Hope you have a great day!

Christmas in July?

By tammyd | July 6th, 2010

Yep!  It’s that time already!  I have a 30% off sale in my Aimee Asher store on all pre 2010 Christmas kits here

But my Favorite thing to share with you is my new MARVELOUS MONDAY Workshops! Every monday we are doing some sort of digital or hybrid craft, so come join the fun!  You can learn how to make it step by step using your own supplies.  Or you can download the matching printable from my store and use that.

This week we made this adorable compact nativity Ornament! It’s a little story nestled inside a dollar sore makeup compact!  It’s so cute!  You can make it without the story, like a locket and put photos inside!  It’s very adaptable.

First Christmas Story Ornament Printable
I would love to see what you can come up with as an alternate design!!
Let me know what you think!
have a great day!
