I needed something special for my daughter’s 16th birthday to go with her new digi camera! So of course, an album!
Here’s the closed wallet. I still need to jazz it up with her initials and stuff, but she doesn’t like foo-foo stuff. The shoe key chain was a great find at Dollar General!
Here’s the inside…of course, you could just use it plain for gift cards, but I filled it with “16 sweet things I love about you” and pictures at each birthday since she was born.
YOu can see all the step by steps at the workshop.
I would love to see what you make using this as an inspiration!
We are having so much fun making projects at the Marvelous Monday Workshop at Aimee Asher! Since it is “Christmas in July” I’ve put up a few holiday themed projects, but of course, you can change it up however you wish! Feels weird making Christmas stuff when it is 100 degrees here in Dallas!
See all the photos of the insides and the album HERE:

Soon it will be time to get busy with pattern designs for the International Quilt Festival. Every year I vow to start early…..we’ll see if I follow through this year! LOL
Yep! It’s that time already! I have a 30% off sale in my Aimee Asher store on all pre 2010 Christmas kits here
But my Favorite thing to share with you is my new MARVELOUS MONDAY Workshops! Every monday we are doing some sort of digital or hybrid craft, so come join the fun! You can learn how to make it step by step using your own supplies. Or you can download the matching printable from my store and use that.
This week we made this adorable compact nativity Ornament! It’s a little story nestled inside a dollar sore makeup compact! It’s so cute! You can make it without the story, like a locket and put photos inside! It’s very adaptable.
I would love to see what you can come up with as an alternate design!!
Hello everyone! Last day of school for my kids! It’s been a busy month and it’s only the 4th! I can’t believe it is June. The other day I was in the post office complaining about how hot it is for spring! When the clerk looked at me and laughed!! (we chat alot!) “Oh! I guess it IS summer!” I said. “It’s supposed to be hot in the summer! But what happened to May?”
What are you planning this summer? A vacation? Catching up on crafts? Swimming and water fun? I hope my daughter and I will get to finally do some scrapbooking. And I promised myself I would mosaic tile the old patio table.
Here are some new turtlicious kits that might be fun for your summer photos! Click the pictures to go to my Aimee Asher store. Or you can find them for sale at Digtals!
Digitals is having a weeklong celebration! Crops, freebies, prizes and a big SALE! Read all about it in their forum

Graduation! Most of my graduating friends in the last decade have been Preschoolers or Kindergartners! Including my own kids (ok, so that was 10 years ago!) but they make the cutest little graduation favors in those grades! but high school graduates love a cute card (with money inside, of course!) and you can adapt “cute” art to fit their style, too!
Here are a few of my sweet little digital kits you might enjoy using in your paper crafts! The papers can be layered for a more “grown up” look, too ….visit my store page 6 & 7 to see the rest! Happy Graduation!
